Born in 1985, Ji-woo Kim (김 지우) trained at SM Entertainment before her trainee contract expired. Wanting to spread her love for K-pop and her culture, Ji-woo transformed her experience into innovation—founding VYOLPOP, the world’s first virtual K-pop girl group. Ji-woo chose the name VYOLPOP because it was inspired by her childhood love of the color violet and her vision of creating K-pop music that embodies a striking, violently beautiful artistry. Through VYOLPOP, Ji-woo aims to redefine what K-pop can be and inspire a new generation of artists beyond traditional boundaries.
Seo-jun Lee (이 서준) is the Chairman of VYOLPOP and a former JYP Entertainment trainee. After terminating his contract, he set out to redefine the future of K-pop. Driven by innovation and creative vision, he found VYOLPOP, the industry’s first virtual K-pop girl group. Seo-jun Lee aims to build a world where K-pop is not only global, but evolutionary.
